Located 35 miles south of Winnemucca, Nevada, the Goldbanks property is a high level epithermal gold system comprised of 14,888 acres.
Desert Gold Ventures, Inc. has earned a 50% interest in one of the most exciting properties in Nevada. The Company will be doing follow up and twin drilling of the
13 high-grade drill holes that averaged 1.16 oz per ton (33.8 grams/metric tonne) of gold over an average mining width of 8.8 feet (2.7 meters) that were encountered in the basement rocks approximately 500 to 715 feet below surface.
Past drilling on the Property has also reported a total of 33 drill holes that averaged over 1 oz per ton (29.9 grams/metric tonne) of gold over an approximate mining width of 12 feet (3.7 meters).
Table of Past High-Grade Drilling Results
As can be seen from the table below, the Goldbanks Property has had numerous outstanding high-grade intercepts over mineable widths and spaced far enough apart to suggest the possibility of a much larger volume of high-grade gold mineralization than was previously identified. During the 2008 drilling program, angle core and RC drilling by the Company will focus on the high-grade aspect of the known mineralization which lies beneath the larger low-grade system above.

Past exploration at Goldbanks resulted in ~ 1175 drill holes completed on the property by the past owner and joint venture partners. This drilling was aimed at establishing and defining a large, low-grade open pit minable gold resource and, as a result, little attention was given to defining high-grade and/or bonanza-type vein mineralization. The favorable zone consists of ~ 100 feet above and below the basement contact and will be a principal focus of exploration in 2008 and will be extensively drill-tested.
The surface fingerprints of the Main Zone and KW deposits are comprised of mineralized and altered rocks that cover an area of approximately 5,000 x 2,500 feet. Several other unexplored areas on the property exhibit analogous alteration and mineralization features, of similar (or greater) intensity, and exhibit roughly the same overall area of alteration. These areas will also be initially evaluated in 2008.
