Eugene Beukman
President, Director and C.E.O.

Eugene Beukman is the Corporate Counsel of The Pender Group, a position he has held since January 1994. He graduated from the Rand University of Johannesburg, South Africa with a Bachelor of Law degree and a Bachelor of Law Honors Postgraduate degree in 1987. Mr. Beukman was previously employed as a legal advisor to the predecessor of BHP Billiton. He has over 25 years experience in the acquisition of assets and joint ventures.

Thomas R. Tough
Director

Mr. Tough is geological consultant with over 40 years experience in prospecting, property evaluation, exploration, development, open-pit and underground mine and mill planning and processing, as operator and project manager. As a consultant he has specialized in underground and surface exploration, reserve estimations, and feasibility studies on precious metal projects and underground gold placer deposits along with the development and/or production of precious, base, industrial minerals, gemstones and oil and gas. His experience encompasses projects in 32 other countries in both the western and eastern hemispheres.

Mr. Tough is currently the President, CEO and Director of ISX Resources Inc., Director of Ona Energy Inc. and Director of Desert Gold Ventures Inc., all mineral exploration companies.

Mr. Tough has a B.Sc. degree in Geology from University of British Columbia and is a licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia.

Ayub Khan
Chairman and Director

Ayub Khan was appointed to the board of directors of Desert Gold Ventures Inc., effective Jan. 9, 2007. Mr. Khan brings over 19 years of experience in operations, public markets and finance to Desert Gold. Over the last 19 years he has been involved in acquiring, restructuring and financing public companies. His experience in public markets includes acquisitions of companies in Europe and South America.

Mr. Khan is a professional Asset Manager currently based in Geneva, Switzerland and travels extensively in order to oversee his company’s considerable business interests. He is Chairman of the Board of Desert Gold Ventures and in this capacity oversees the global vision for the company and brings to play his network of key industry players.
