About Desert Gold

West Africa Focus

Desert Gold is advancing a gold discovery and development pipeline within West Africa’s Birimian greenstone belt. With 737 km² of highly prospective ground across Mali’s SMSZ and Côte d’Ivoire’s western gold corridor, the company is targeting scalable growth in well-established, low-cost mining jurisdictions with tier-one discovery potential.

Near-Term Cashflow Mali

The company is targeting oxide gold production in Mali by 2025, with a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) expected in Q2 2025. The SMSZ Project offers near-term development potential supported by road access, local workforce, and established infrastructure.

Strategic Growth in Côte d’Ivoire

Desert Gold secured an option on the 297 km² Tiegba Project in Côte d’Ivoire. The project hosts a large, never-drilled gold-in-soil anomaly with multiple parallel mineralized trends, including values exceeding 900 ppb gold. Early sampling returned 89 samples over 50 ppb, 29 between 100–200 ppb, and 12 over 200 ppb. With road and power access and proximity to producing mines, Tiegba is well positioned for a major grassroots discovery.

Experienced Management

Desert Gold’s technical team brings 15+ years of success across West Africa and the Arabian Shield, including roles with Centamin, Barrick, and Avocet. Their track record includes discoveries like the Houndé Vindaloo deposit and resource growth at the Inata Gold Mine.

Senegal Mali Shear Zone Project

01

Desert Gold’s Senegal Mali Shear Zone (SMSZ) Project spans approximately 440 km² across western Mali, strategically positioned along the prolific Senegal Mali Shear Zone which hosts several multi-million ounce gold mines including Fekola, Gounkoto, and Loulo.

02

The project benefits from excellent infrastructure including paved highway access, proximity to power and water sources, and is situated in a mining-friendly jurisdiction with an established framework for mineral development.

03

Extensive systematic exploration work including geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, and over 95,000 meters of drilling has outlined numerous prospective gold targets across the large land package, with many remaining untested.

04

The property has demonstrated significant exploration potential with multiple high-grade gold zones identified through drilling programs, including notable intercepts at the Gourbassi East and West zones as well as the Barani East discovery.

Our Projects

Desert Gold’s flagship 440km2 SMSZ Project is located in the country of Mali and overlies a 38 km section of West Africa’s prolific Senegal Mali Shear Zone which is related to 4 tier one gold mines including B2 Gold’s Fekola Mine, Barrick’s Gounkoto and Loulo Mines and Allied Gold’s Sadiola and Yatela Mines.

At 440km2 the Company’s SMSZ Project is one of the largest gold exploration projects in Western Africa. With 20+ open gold zones discovered to date that require follow up and numerous targets yet to be tested, the SMSZ Project has the potential for the discovery of a major gold deposit(s) consistent with the region’s tier 1 gold mines.
